RUDOLPH'S RAMPAGE COSTUMES

We’ll be honest: even more than the fancy dress, what really appeals to us about this event is the promise of homemade mince muffins at the finish line!

Rudolph’s Rampage takes place in and around Painswick in the Cotswolds, on Sunday 21st December. It’s a 7-kilometre, multi-terrain race… at this time of year in the Cotswolds, that usually guarantees a fair amount of mud! What makes this muddy race different from all the other muddy races is... well, yes, obviously the mince muffins at the finish line. But more importantly, all participants dress up as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. What a fantastic idea; we love the thought of hundreds of Rudolphs running around Painswick in the hope of getting a mince muffin!

There’s also the Rudolph Dash, which is a race for juniors. Apparently, after 5 years of running, the fancy dress element has become a bit competitive between runners. We wonder who will have the shiniest nose and biggest antlers this year...
