FLASHBACK FESTIVAL - 22nd AUGUST
Everyone loves the 1980s!
Any festival that has Flashback in the name brings high hopes for fancy dress - and the Flashback Festival doesn't disappoint! With one day of massive 1970s stars and a second of huge 1980s stars, this weekend in August is sure to be nothing short of amazing. On top of the two massive days of live acts, there's also a silent disco! What could be more awesome? We love the idea of this festival, it seems like such a great weekend with picnics encouraged and overnight camping. Day tickets are available for those who only wish to celebrate one decade... but who would want to celebrate only one, when two are on offer? Jason Donovan, Boney M, 5 Star, Odyssey, Toyah Wilcox, Sister Sledge... wowsers. There is nobody on this lineup we don't want to see. Even better, they also offer a VIP camping experience where they will put a tent up for you, provide access to an "executive" toilet, and give you free tea and coffee in the morning!
Now that we've decided we're going to both days of this event, we need to plan our outfits! Maybe a hippie outfit for the 70s day, or perhaps platform boots and a psychedelic patterned dress? And for the 1980s day? It has to be neon, all the way! Neon outfit, back-combed hair, glow sticks everywhere! Fantastic!
