A West Yorkshire policeman said of the event: “The person who brought the wanted man into the station was dressed in a full batman outfit. His identity, however, remains unknown.”

The 27-year-old who ‘Batman’ brought to justice was wanted under suspicion of burglary, fraud and breach of a court order, and was charged with handling of stolen good and fraud related offenses.

It’s not the first time a mysterious stranger has kept the peace and order on the streets; one Batman apprehended a brawl outside of a fish and chip shop, while one charity worker drove around in a customised Batmobile and full costume “for the kids”.
