I need my order next day?
No problem. Provided your order and payment are received before 17:00 and the appropriate next day service has been selected, we will deliver your goods the very next day (Excludes Sundays).
Please note that some items may not be available for next day, therefore we provide the earliest delivery date possible at the checkout process.
Can I collect from your warehouse?
YES, simply choose the "Collect in Person" option at check out.

How do I search this website?
You can search for an item in various ways until you find exactly what you’re looking for.
We’ve designed our website to provide simple navigation and to suit your preferred choice of browsing. Select a category from the left hand menu. Each category contains various themes to refine your search.
Alternatively, if you know exactly what you’re looking for, type the product i.e. ‘superman’ or product code into our search box (top right of the page) and we will return you all the items related to your search.
Once you have found what you’re looking for, simply click the ‘add to basket’ button. Once you’ve finished shopping, select ‘view basket’ and follow the step by step instructions to enter delivery and payment details to complete your purchase.

Do you have a catalogue I can buy from?
With over 10,000 items on the site at any one time and new products being added weekly, it would be simply impossible to produce a paper catalogue. Not only is a catalogue out of date soon after printing, just think of the costs to the environment. Instead we believe that an up to date website is where we should focus our energy and provide our customers with the opportunity to view the latest costumes online 365 days a year.

I have bought an item recently but have noticed the price has changed
As an online retailer we act quickly in adjusting our pricing in response to costume trends, availability of stock and demands from our customers. Unfortunately we are unable to refund any difference in price.
Do I need to register an account to buy from you?
Yes! Creating an account allows you to buy from us without continually filling in details each time you shop at Fancy Dress Ball. Additional benefits allow you to review your previous orders, order tracking, and receive regular newsletters and exclusive promotional offers and discounts.

Do you have a SIZE CHART?
We know just how frustrating it is to buy a costume and it not fit properly. Please see our size chart for guide measurements of costumes.
We are often asked by our customers what size costume to order. Many of our suppliers design fancy dress costumes to cover multiple sizing by including elastic seems. If you are in-between sizes, our advice would be to order the next size up as it's easier to alter a costume rather than it being too tight.
I would like to know more about an item before I purchase
We try to provide as much useful information about all our products, to help you buy items that suit you best. The product page for every item includes a detailed description and available sizes, and most importantly plenty of detailed images.
If you need any further information other than what's on the product page, please contact us and let us know just what further information you wish to see. We will do our best to include this.
How do I sign up for the newsletter and promotions?
To receive regular newsletters and latest promotions you will need to create an account with us. There is no need buy anything yet, however this will save time if you decide to purchase in the future. Alternatively you can enter your email address at the bottom of any page and choose your gender.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We like to offer plenty of payment options, so you can use any of the cards listed below. We also accept PayPal payments.
All debt and credit card holders will be subject to validation and authorisation by both us and the card issuer, to maintain security and prevent fraud.
We take security seriously, so rest assured that your details will be handled safely.

When will I be charged?
If your card or PayPal method is authorised, payment will be taken immediately. You will shortly receive an email from us to confirm that payment was successful and your order has been placed with us.
Should your card not be authorised, payment will not be taken. We will email you to let you know why the card issuer declined payment and try to assist you in making an alternative payment.
How do I change my account details?
Once you have signed up to an account, you can login to My Account anytime you choose. If you are successfully logged in, you will see ‘Logged in as Your Name’ at the top right hand of the page.
Here you can view or amend your password, address details and previous orders.
How do I use the discount code I have?
You can enter the discount code in the appropriate box either at the ‘view basket’ or ‘review order’ page. You will see the discounted amount on a separate line above the total amount to pay.
Discount codes do not apply to Sale or Clearance items.
Please note that a discount code cannot be applied to an order already placed, although you may be able to use it for a subsequent order.
Discount codes only have a limited period so be sure to take advantage of them when they come!
I’ve just placed an order; can I amend or cancel it?
Once a payment has been taken, unfortunately it isn’t possible to amend that particular order. If however you cancelled your order at the payment stage, you can view and amend incomplete orders by logging into My Account.
You can cancel an order within 1 hour of placing it to avoid it being dispatched to you.

Cancelling an order under the Distance Selling Regulations
Under the UK Distance Selling laws, you have the right to cancel your contract within 14 days of placing it with us. You must advise us of this so that we can issue a full refund however you will need to return the entire order at your cost if you have already received the goods.
In all cases, the goods must be in their original condition and unused. We inspect all items on their return.
If we do not receive the cancelled order back, we may arrange to have to goods collected at your cost.
