Were you Blur or Oasis?

Fantastic things about the 1990s: knowing all the words to the Bartman, as the Simpsons exploded onto our TVs in a splash of yellow; Starburst were called Opal Fruits and Marathon became Snickers and we all took ages to remember; Dances With Wolves and Forrest Gump won Oscars; Leonardo DiCaprio was freezing to death after Kate Winslet asked him to paint her like one of his French girls; the original Jurassic Park movie; the Lion King; Frasier; Seinfeld; Dawson's Creek; Friends the first time around, before it was repeated ad infinitum... And, of course, the music. From America, we had bands like Nirvana, Green Day, Blink-182, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Dr Dre and Tupac. In the UK we had Blur and Oasis (and the big war over who was best), The Verve, Shed Seven, Manic Street Preachers, Radiohead, Elastica, Echobelly. The list goes on! The 90s was a fantastic decade for British music. Oasis had their massive gig at Knebworth, while Blur performed at Mile End. The Prodigy got to Number 1 with Firestarter... but there was also 2 Unlimited! All together now: no no, no no no no...
