What's your favourite spooky ghost story? Children love the fun, spooky festivities of Halloween, with stories of haunted houses and ghosts and ghoulies! Although adults like to create increasingly gorey and genuinely scary costumes, there is still very much room for children having innocent fun on Halloween, with fancy dress, fun and games to be had.
The South of England Rare Breeds Centre in Kent has a fantastic event running from 25th October to 2nd November, where you're guaranteed a fun-filled family day out… with a few screaming surprises! There will be ghosts hidden around the farm to give you a bit of a scare, as well as "Scare Glow" - an exciting UV fun family experience. We're looking forward to the spooky face painting and the "Spooks Quiz Trail" as well as the creepy food available in the restaurant. There will also be a wizard named Vunderbar telling scary stories and singing spooky songs, and children can even help him cast a few spells.
To us, this seems like a perfect family day out to enjoy a good old fashioned spooky ghost story!
