Thought Wookey was only famous for its witch-infested caves? Think again! The Wookey Hotel is an amazing place with events running all year round. The Murdery Mystery weekends are a brilliantly constructed affair, and the 1920s-themed weekend on 8th November is bound to be no exception to that rule. Of course, the fancy dress is billed as "optional" but we all know you have to turn up to these things in proper costume, or half the fun is missing.
Who could resist dressing like a character from a Poirot story, or in a vintage flapper dress, suave 1920s suits with a smart pair of spats? Perhaps Charlie Chaplin could turn up to the hotel for the weekend, or a beautiful, glamorous performer from an American speakeasy. Think the Great Gatsby, Boardwalk Empire, House of Eliott. This sounds like such fun to us; we can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want to turn up in fancy dress for this!
