Founded in 2006, Latitude Festival really is more than just a music festival. It features comedy, art, cabaret, poetry, literature, dance, theatre and even politics. With all that and four stages, it's bound to have something for everyone. This year's lineup includes The Maccabees, British Sea Power, Squeeze and New Order on the music stages, as well as comedians Russell Howard, Al Murray, Sara Pascoe, Josh Widdicombe, David O'Doherty and tons more. Seriously, the list of comedians appearing at this festival reads like a who's who of British comedy. Then there are the numerous theatre acts, dance on the Waterfront Stage, writers on the literature stage, talks from the Wellcombe Trust, a plethora of amazing poets, brilliant cabaret acts, DJs and even a film and music arena. This year, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the birth of punk in 1976, the Lavish Big Screen is to be curated by Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols, Stephen Mallinder Cabaret Voltaire and the Rebel Dread Don Letts. We're not sure you could find this much entertainment culture in the same place anywhere else on earth!
