Feminine Halloween Costumes
If you’re a girly girl, and very feminine, you probably don’t like traditional Halloween costumes—let’s face it, scary ghouls and ghosts, creepy vampires and zombies—these are not for you. So, how can you dress for Halloween but still be feminine?
When looking for a feminine Halloween costume, try looking at general ladies fancy dress costumes. You’ll find a whole host of girly costumes from nursery rhyme costumes to 60’s fashion and roaring twenties flapper gowns. You could go to a Halloween party as a pink bunny, a sexy ladybug, or even Marilyn Monroe. Who says Halloween has to be scary
Another alternative for ladies Halloween costumes is to choose a favourite, female historical figure, like Cleopatra or a medieval queen. You could also be a Viking maiden, Maid Marian, or a tavern wench.
But if you do want a traditional Halloween costume, there are some choices that will still make you feel girly and pretty. Go as a witch, but choose a sexy, purple and black costume, or a black witch dress with pink ribbons laced up the bodice. Who says witches are old hags? For a sleek, sexy look, why not go as a black cat? A pumpkin costume is always cute, or to get a little more male attention, why not dress as a sexy vampire with a short skirt and heels? If there’s anything Twilight has taught us, it’s that not all vampires have to be creepy.
