Well the jury may be out on Cheryl Cole’s vocal performance but she definitely pulled of the costume strutting around that stage with her army of Russian soldier back-up dancers.  Her costume was a quasi Russian officer come lion tamer in my opinion and I know lots of males and females out there loved her look.
